The Door Brake ^TM Company was established in 2009, and is a Brighton, Michigan-based American company. Our product, the Door Brake^TM, was invented by our company President Sean Nalepka in response to a security problem present in his own home.

The home had a steel door, and a nice lock set with a dead bolt. It also had ornamental daylight windows, which are found in many homes, and installed less than a foot away from the locks on the door.
